Creative Lashes

Tonight my daughter requested some lash extensions. I have been a freelance Makeup Artist for 6 years and only did just makeup with strips. I am so glad in Cosmetology school that I was taught the basics of lash extensions and learned how to make it my own.
I have a love for lashes and brows, one could say obsession, I am constantly practicing new brow techniques and finding out the newest lashes. I just love my passion.

KKW Beauty

Hate em or love em, you have to admit the Kardashian – Jenner girls are doing their thing, from gracing us on the tv screen to building a billion dollar beauty brand.
Kim Kardashian has added beauty brand owner to her resume. A few months back, Mrs. Kardashian-West dropped her "KKW" cream contour and brush duos. Many were very skeptical to the brand. Kim hosted a launch party for her brand, where she invited some beauty influencers (one day Tee one day) where the attendees left with a goody bag of her newly launched products.
Me being me I could not wait to see some of the influencers test the product!! The reviews weren't so great. I think partially the problem was some were not using their proper skintone shade and secondly, I don't think there were an open mind Disclaimer Time: Everyone has the right to their OWN opinion, doesn't mean they are right neither wrong, it's how they feel about the products based upon THEMSELVES. to the fact the product is brand new so there will probably be a few mistakes. I myself DO NOT own any of KKW Beauty products, but I'm going to share that Kim is expanding her brand to powder contour kits that will include a highlight. If you follow Kim on Snapchat then you have already gotten a sneak peek. Who has bought from KKW? What are your opinions? Are you going to buy the new powder kits?
The photos are not mine. Kim's makeup artist is MakeupbyMario

SubCulture for Fall

Disclaimer: the photo does not belong to me.
Fall is definitely in the air! Everywhere you go or shop from beauty to home goods , fall items are being rolled out ready to welcome in my favorite season!
I went to Ulta today to see what's new and to see what the fuss or complains were about on the Anastasia Beverly Hills newest palette labeled "Sub Culture". From the look of the palette fall was definitely the inspiration. The palette was released a few weeks ago so I am tardy to the party. I was able to see swatches and reviews and some of the reviews I watched many were complaining of fall out or what not, so I did swatch the palette and decided to give my opinion on the palette before I purchase it for myself and my kit.
I am familiar with Anastasia Beverly Hills but I only own three products from the line ( hopefully one day I will become a beauty ambassador and I won't have to be behind). I have the Modern Renaissance palette and I like it and the dip brow pomade is nice, but the eyebrow brush is the perfect stiffness to get your brows on "fleek!"
When I swatched SubCulture,I immediately noticed the pigmentation!! It's there so that's a plus, what I didn't see nor get is the negative reviews that were made. Disclaimer time: Everyone has their right to their opinion, it does not make them right nor wrong, it's just how they felt about the palette. When you have a palette that is not fully pressed and mostly pure pigment, you can expect fall out point blank. I feel the brand wanted to give a rich deep color pay off with this palette. I feel the intention was a little goes a long way. You will get the color pay off that you are looking for. What do I think about the price point? I feel because it's not fully pressed and the pigmentation is there, the price is worth it. I advise though to be very careful with the palette it looks like one fall and your money will be down the drain!

Muva Fuka x Reebok

Reebok has been a classic staple to anyone that was a teenager and loved hip hop. If you are like me being a teenager in the '90s then your back to school outfit consisted of a pair of "Rees" as we called them here in Louisiana. Reebok has been known to collab with many influencers in style to hip hop from Melanie Ehsani to Kendrick Lamar, so this collab is by far going to take the fall 2017 season by a storm.
If you are on Instagram, this morning you saw pictures of these kicks circulating around on pages such as Baller Alert no if you follow Amber Rose then you got a tease late Saturday night.
That's right! Amber Rose posted pictures of her collaboration with Reebok! The high top sneakers are the perfect fall color burgundy and pony hair. They have gold with diamond metal tips on the laces. The words "Muva Fucka" on the laces in gold and diamonds as well. The date hasn't been set yet, but I'm dying to find out when! If you follow me on Instagram at "Thestylegosssip" I will upload another picture with the date!!! Are you feeling the Reebok and Amber Rose collab? Let me know in the comments below
