Valentine’s Day Inspired

This is this year’s Valentine’s Day inspired look there’s a YouTube video on my channel.

I took it back old school with Too Faced Chocolate palette and SugarPill love + eyeshadow on my lips is the Coloured Raine liquid lipstick.

I’m going to deviate from my normal posting to share some thoughts. I appreciate each and everyone that reads my blog posts and comment, my following list is growing and I’m very grateful. If you’re a long time follower, then you know my journey in the beauty community hasn’t been easy.

Tonight, I am strolling on Instagram and I notice a look done in a different color with colored lashes, mine are actual red mink lashes the look is monochromatic as well. I’m puzzled as to why this brand shared a stolen look and I know they know it’s stolen because I tagged them on my page.

Brands have to start being better monitors of their pages, mues/muas like myself we work entirely too hard for our look to be stolen and recreated without credit.

I am upset, this is not the first time, but I won’t stop, I will keep creating until I’m where I’m dreaming to be.

Concert Vibes

I attended the Keith Sweat and friends concert this past Sunday, it felt good to listen to some good r&b music. I wanted to be the lady in red so I wore a very revealing red dress. I ended up not wearing the heels.

My makeup was a red monochromatic look with red chunky glitter. The red came from a new makeup palette I bought called “ Jamrock “ by Playing In Makeup by Yolando, the glitter was chunky glitter from Walmart, and the lips was “ Cherry Blossom” by Coloured Raine Cosmetics.

The Bluest Eyes

Hi beauties! I’m back with another post, this post was done with participation in The Crayon Case Black History Month Challenge, if you are not familiar with The Crayon Case here’s a few stats. The Crayon Case is a black owned, woman owned, indie beauty brand created by Supa Cent a former social media personality from New Orleans, Louisiana.

She had an idea for Black History Month to create a makeup look a day to pay homage to black leaders and legends, not only was we to create looks, but learn in the process. The challenge was not well received from some, but majority thought it was a great idea and shown up and shown out.

I participated in two of the challenges, this one is from “ The Bluest Eyes “ a tribute to the late African American author, Toni Morrison.

Here’s the products I used. I prepped my skin and used everything from my previous post, the only thing I used differently was the eyes. I used Colourpop Cosmetics “ Blue Moon” palette and another palette. The blush was from Kalon Cosmetics’s in “ Dark Rose” , the lips are Black Radiance liquid lipstick “ Hollywood Hot” with Nicka K “ chocolate “ lipliner, and The Crayon Case “ Clean Kisses” lipgloss.

Senior Pictures Glam

I love when I’m given the opportunity to glam over a beauty that wants to enhance her features, nothing brings more joy when you have a beauty’s makeup artist since her freshman year of high school.

Today she took her senior pictures for her announcements and she wanted a glammed session. I chose a neutral glam look, because she was changing throughout her session

My Birthday 2020

My birthday was January 26th, yep yep Aquarius season!!

My birthday was ok in the end, but I was ready to lie in bed and just chill. I have to admit this month alone was hell I was not excited one bit about my birthday period.

First, my package which was $80 was stolen which I feel my mail carrier took it, then my nail cracked to the point it had to be replaced with a tip, then we left late because I happened to go get a repair and polish change on a Friday! And I had a different theme to which I did not stick and settled on a frosty pink. The color is actually beautiful, but I’m in an emerald green mood.

To add to my misery my car decides to break down an hour and half away and I had to exit to the nearest Autozone and wait an hour to get a battery charge to make it back home now I need a alternator!

We ended up going in my sister’s car, everything was great until the yellow hair I was going to wear my dumb self forgot the scissors and got2b spray so I was like , I’ll just wear my red hair, the palettes I chose to bring did not have a red shadow to color my brows so I wore my blond hair.

We ate at The Sugar Factory and that was fun and we shopped at the outlet. I received money, a polo tshirt in one of my favorite colors, yellow, the shirt I was looking at at Walmart and some lipglosses.

Creative Conversations: Coloupop Blush Crush Palette

I am back with another review, disclaimer, I had a total different look in mind, until I saw the palette thoroughly, so the nude look will be for another time.

I bought this palette as a replacement for my stolen birthday palette ( the story will be next post) and I just sat today to film a wasted video and to take a good look at the palette.

If you’re familiar with Colourpop ( whose not? ) then you know they release a single palette based upon one particular color. So far from the releases I have the Watermelon palette which is a red palette, and well a few I’m short of some , lol.

I choose this palette and one of the lipglosses from the collection, because it’s a soft color and it would be perfect for a neutral look, boy was I wrong! This nine pan palette is nothing like it seems, the colors are neutral but it’s not an everyday look well it can be just can’t use certain colors. You will get a few mattes, shimmers, and a super shock color. The two mattes I used had glitter in them, nothing overpowering, visible.

I rate this palette an A. I like the color scheme theme, I find this palette will be great for a bride so I’ll be adding this to my bridal kit. The pigmentation is good, the neutral colors picked up well . The only con is I wished the darkest color was dark, but keeping with the theme it’s understandable.

Products used:

I haven’t switched anything new. I am in the market for some new setting powders and foundations.

Lips: Victoria’s Secret ” Drama” matte velvet liquid lipstick

Lashes: ” Bossy” from Coloured Raine Cosmetics

Creative Conversation: Morphe x PonyMakeup 351 Icy Fantasy Palette Review

Hi everyone! I want to first say thank you to everyone whom viewed my video and subscribed and shown love, my video has been viewed over 100 times! I’m so excited.

I was birthday shopping when I seen this palette in the Ulta store. I had viewed it online and even added it to my cart, but yes, it was in store,so why not?

I do apologize for no swatches, but if view my video you will see some there.

Morphe has collaborated with Asian makeup artist ponysmakeup, now I will be honest, I do not know her never heard of her until this collaboration, I’m not being shady, I just personally never ran across her social media handles and I’m sure it’s likewise on my behalf as well.

This 35 shadow palette is a pastel palette of cool tones colors, you have your standard matte and shimmers, upon opening the palette is very beautiful, very soft. When I first applied the shadows, I was not very happy. I used the new Elf primer putty white primer and the colors did not take well, the colors weren’t building and was very chalky, I had received a lot of fall out, so I was like, this would be the first morphe palette I would have to return, but once I done my left eye using only the Nyx pigment primer everything was good.

I rate this palette a B I had to use my Mac shadow ” rule” to deepen the crease and I experienced fall out. I’m not going to rate based upon pigmentation, because this is a pastel palette.

Did you buy the palette? What was your experience? Please comment and share

Happy New Year

Happy New Year beauties!!! Can you believe we are in a new decade? I’m so excited, 2019 was my breakthrough year for me. I learned a lot about myself and I got the encouragement and motivation to launch my eyelash line and my personalized jewelry line that will turn into a full online boutique with items that will reflect my style and style itself.

My lash line, named ” EyeFashion Lashes” I am selling natural to the boldest bold and I’m quit excited.

If you haven’t watched yet, my look is now up on my YouTube channel. My look was inspired by fun, I didn’t want a classic look so I added a hot pink lip to spice it up.

My skin prep routine is the same as well as my makeup routine. The lipstick and gloss I’m wearing is Mac x Ariana Grande ” Viva Glam Ariana”

I’m also wearing the accessories I’m offering for pre order in the video as well, so I would definitely check it out.

Tell me what you think about my look and share yours.

Happy new year!!!
