Artistry Tales: Concert Night

Today, I had a glam session, she was attending a concert and wanted a Smokey eye. Here’s the details:

Skincare prep: witch hazel and simple facial lotion

Eyes: Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer

La Girl Cosmetics Fawn concealer as a base

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Dark Horse palette

Juvia’s Place Warrior palette

Profusion shimmer palette ( I used a dark silver on crease to intensify and a gold in inner corner)

Elf Cosmetics black gel liner

No name lashes

La Colors brown eye pencil in lower waterline

Brows: Elf brow gel, La Colors brow pencil cleaned with La Girl pro concealer in Fawn

Face: Wet n Wild water primer in Rose

Air spun translucent powder in t zone ( she’s oily)

Mac strobe cream on highest points of face

Clinique foundation

La Girl pro concealer in Fawn as a highlight

Black Radiance cream contour kit

Ruby Kisses powder contour kit for dark to deep skin

Covergirl Queen Ebony Bronze powder

Elf Cosmetics Brick blush

Anglowla highlighter by The Crayon Case

I used the Olay spray as a skin prep and to help tone down the powder look and I then set with Hard Candy 12 hour setting spray ( I love the cucumber smell)

Lips: she wears only lipgloss so I suggested my own concoction of a glossy nude lip, so I outlined her lips with the darkest color in the Ruby Kisses cream contour kit and used a light medium brown from the palette in the center and used a beauty supply store clear gloss oil on top

That’s it. Beauty doesn’t have to break the bank, it’s all about technique and using what you have.
