From the pictures and of course the topic I am participating in the Rivatalift challenge, for 14 days I get to use this moisturizer to see if there will be a difference in my skin. I am so excited for this challenge and can’t wait to see the results!! My first impression is this moisturizer smells so good and is lightweight definitely not greasy so if you are reading this blog and taking the challenge please let me know your first impression!!
Hello!! Louisiana tends to get extremely hot so I decided my signature look will be a simple face and a bold lip. Summer is the PERFECT time to go bold. Yesterday I decided to try my sample of the Lancôme Teint Idole foundation I gotten from Dillard’s about a month ago. I am in the market of expanding my foundation line and I want to start buying more “higher end” foundations and since I have heard rave reviews why start with Lancôme?? My first impression is that it’s very comfortable on the face for me a little went along way I just added more where I needed the coverage and that was in my t zone. The Foundation lasted even through the heat and I sweated lol. This is now on my buy list.
The very bold orange lip I am rocking is “Matte Bright” by Black Radiance Cosmetics. This liquid matte lipstick is very bright, I actually built it up bc I wanted to blind the people, but a little goes a long way for this as well. The lippie can be drying but applying a lip balm, wipe, then apply the lippie you should be fine. This lipstick does has lasting powers so you won’t be reapplying as much. This lippie works great with medium to deep skin tones. Though Black Radiance is catered to Women or Men of color (it is NOT black owned) the liquid lipsticks can work for ALL skin tones!
If you are not already, please follow me on Snapchat at CreatingCanvasesMakeup there I am giving my opinion on this lippie and I talk about a blinding highlight you won’t believe from…and it cost me only $1.99
Hey guys happy Monday!! This morning I went back to my local Mac Cosmetics store to put in an application to try to get on again ((for the 100th plus time) as a freelancer only to get the runaround again for the 100th plus time, my daughters feel it’s time for me to give up and continue just doing my own thing and I have to agree yes it’s time to give up lol
Well for my “interview” look I decided to do a spring look (honestly I had no idea what I was going to do this came out of the blue). Spring is almost here ( well in Louisiana we don’t know we might just go straight into summer🤷🏽♀️)
Well here’s the details. My skin is still acting crazy hopefully this week it will return to oily/combo. For Foundation I pulled out the old Mac Studio Finish Foundation. I primed with the Maybelline blur primer in my tzone and I moisturizer with Dermologica matte lotion. I put translucent powder in my tzone but will not on my nose the Foundation did not stick. For my eyes I primed with La colors concealer in “natural” and set it. I rotated between the Mac neutral palette and the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette. My brows was the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in “chocolate” and the Wet n Wild beauty brow palette. I also used the Wet n Wild liner for my waterline and the NYC liquid eye liner. I contoured with the rue 21 cream contour palette and set with the LA Colors contour duo. I used the Wet n Wild Photo finish press powder to set my Face. I highlighted in my tzone with the LA Girls concealer in yellow and set it with the NYX banana press powder. For blush I used an old Ulta Beauty blush and highlighter duo and to highlight I used Wet n Wild highlight in “Precious Petals” for my lips I used Wet n Wild Catsuit liquid lipstick in “Nudist Peach”. Everything was set with Mac Fix plus and Wet n Wild setting sprays. My lashes is Salon Perfect #614 and I used a Wet n Wild mascara. That’s it guys talk to you later byeeee!!
If you follow me on any of my social media pages then you know yesterday I celebrated the soon to be arrival of my first grandchild a girl ((yes I was a teen mom lol)
It was beautiful I even lived it on instagram.
The look I chose to wear to celebrate the occasion was a simple with a pop of color. My Face is going through a hormonal stage and plus I am trying to lose weight so my skin isn’t acting right and Louisiana bipolar weather isn’t helping the situation either.
The Foundation of choice was my L’Oréal Pro Infalliable Foundation. The pro matte version, this is a dupe of Mac’s Studio Foundation. I just love the formula and the coverage. I also used my Too Faced Sweet Peach palette ( my first impression Will be on the next blog)
For my lips I chose to outline my lips with a Milani red lip liner and wear Tarte liquid lipstick in “Birthday Suit”( I received a Tarte mini deluxe sample with a blush for my birthday from Sephora). I also used my LA Colors contour and highlight duo (the first impression will be on another blog). The lashes that I wore are by Salon Perfect in #614 my favs!!

Hello Hello Hello!!!
I know I’ve been neglecting my blog and i soo apologize..i have to keep up with 8 yes 8 different sites and one more including Snapchat (that i have to try to get use too and update😞) oh lets not forget Periscope lol
So where have I been? Well…I’ve been dealing with some health issues. In May I started having a few female issues that lead to by june a blood infusion and in july minor surgery. I haven’t been wearing much makeup, because Louisiana has been soooo hot and i been trying to get my health together. So the above picture which is my simple face is the first wearing makeup in 2 months i want to say. If you are loving the lippie its by Nyx Cosmetics from their lingerie line in the color “Teddy Bear”.
I have been in a makeup slump lately, basically i have narrowed down for me to a few things for my personal collection. I am focusing finally on my professional kit, revamping it and adding new items.
