Sprite

Hi beauties, today’s Look was inspired by the soda sprite. I consider myself an eclectic artist, I love to create conversations and head turning looks, and this look was a head turner today. I wear my makeup boldly and proudly, I simply believe that it’s only makeup it will come off and have fun with playing with color.

The products I used were:

Brows: Benefit brow pencil and cleaned up with the ruby kisses cream contour kit

Eyes: too Faced Shadow insurance primer

Since this was a two color look for the lime side I went in with a discontinued Revlon cream shadow kit and I used my Pinky Rose Cosmetic palette and my limited edition Wet and Wild palette and for the yellow side I based with my kat von d white concealer and I used both top palettes and a nyx yellow single shadow.

Icing white liquid eyeliner and occ Cosmetics white eyeliner pencil

Nicka K lashes which I’m loving at the moment

Face: Fenty Beauty pro filter primer I used Black Radiance banana powder to set my tzone. I color corrected with la Girl pro concealer Peach Corrector. I highlighted and contoured as well as bronzed with Ruby Kisses Cosmetics cream concealer palette in medium/dark and to set I used my Ulta Beauty powder contour palette and to powder bronze or set my bronzer Glamour Doll Cosmetics x Lisa Frank Bronzer. I highlighted with Mac soft n gentle highlighter and I used a Tarte blush my foundation was Ruby Kisses liquid foundation for acne, it is a semi matte foundation so it left me slightly Dewey which was cool because my skin is back dry ((Louisiana bipolar weather))

My Lil Pony

Tonight’s makeup look was inspired by my phone case which is my little pony. I must admit this look started off rocky and I almost ditched it. The Rue 21 eyeshadow I bought was very very chalky and my Kat Von D white concealer did not mix well with it, which caused the other shadows to appear patchy.

Since my skin is back oily (( yay)), I was able to use my Maybelline superstay Foundation, here’s the rest of the products used:

Brows: Benefits KaBrow pencil ( I’m not a fan, it tends to “disappear” and I end up reapplying after Foundation, though I’m very careful around my brows) and I concealed with my broadway concealer.

Eyes:

Too Faced Shadow insurance

La Girl pro concealer “natural”

Set with Bombshell Cosmetics translucent powder

Rue 21 eyeshadow palette (which again ended up being a disaster)

$1.00 for this eye look

Today on my off day I decided to do what any makeup artist do when they want to relax…play in makeup!

I decided to create this neutral look using one palette only and it only cost me $1.00!!

The palette is by La Colors in “Nude”. The shadows are pigmented and very easy to blend. This palette is perfect for beginners that’s experimenting in makeup to artists whom is looking for a very affordable buy quality palette for $1 you cannot Beat this! You can create tons of Looks from a neutral everyday look to a sexy date night. The palette is completely matte, for the matte lovers this is for you!

The foundation I used is a discontinued Covergirl foundation, which was too sheer for me. On my lips I used a medium brown eyeshadow from the palette and a Nicks K butter liquid lipstick for the center for a kind of ombré look.

See, you don’t have to spend a ton to look good.

Spellbounding with Ipsy

I received my Ipsy bag very late, someone stole my first bag and I found out when I logged into the Ipsy app and seen my package was supposedly delivered October 13th!! Now I can’t say for sure but this was the second package that went m.i.a on me, so I will be investing in a P.O. box enough is enough! Long story short I wrote ispy and all is well!

October’s Ipsy theme was “ Spellbound”, due to the incident I wasn’t able to get the lace bag that came with it I’m just grateful that I received a bag.

The items I received were;

It Cosmetics “ Bye Bye Pores” invisible powder mink sample

Tony and Moly mini Hand Cream

Essence Cosmetics blush

Furless Small crease brush

Jm Solution foaming facial wash ( I tried tonight, so far so good details will be on my updated facial care routine soon)

A pink fur bag and of course the theme card

If you are interested in Ipsy and would like to subscribe please refer to my previous posts thanks.

I rate the bag an A+ I love the great customer service, and all the products were worth it and will be put to great use.

Fall/Halloween inspired makeup

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so why not do some Halloween inspired Looks? Since fall is one of my favorite seasons why not make it wearable?

For this look I used all my usuals except I went a discontinued Covergirl foundation that was a whipped (when whipped Foundation was the rage). This foundation is ok the coverage is medium to full and it glided on effortlessly. What I didn’t like? The foundation moved, I had to stipple it in and stipple my contour and highlight, but I made it work. For the lips I used Wet n Wild “Cherry Bomb” matte lipstick. The lashes are from EBay.
