’90s Inspired Glam

My daughter’s school is doing a theme week and tomorrow she chose to do the “90s”. Since I won’t be awoke to Glam her over, we decided to do a makeup look that was the trend or style as we use to say.

In the ’90s the makeup wasn’t over the top, more of simple, yet beautiful. Earth tones with glossy lips was the style. So I made her over based upon how I some what wore my makeup in high school.

This look was quick, simple, yet modern.this was a 15 minute look for me I did not wear false lashes in school just a lot of Maybelline mascara and I did not wear liquid foundation just a Covergirl press powder also no highlight and no contour so I really modernize this look to be up to date but still pay homage to an era that was a best time to live the age before modern technology.

Primary Colors

Tonight’s makeup look was inspired by the primary colors. As a makeup artist or anyone in the beauty, fashion, and art profession knows that the primary colors are the start to making other colors. I decided to try something new, I have never mismatched my eye colors before so this was definitely fun. I’m also trying out a new foundation, contour, and highlight routine as well. I don’t know how to feel about this yet, but anything to save time and cut my full Glam face to 45 minutes per person.

Black Girl Magic with Black Radiance

Disclaimer: Photos are not mine
Fall must the season for jewel tones! Cosmetic lines are debuting jewel tones to welcome in everyone's favorite season.
Black Radiance Cosmetics has decided to join in on the fun by debuting four limited edition jewel tones liquid lipsticks, expanding their "Perfect Tone" matte lip creme line (in my opinion is the BEST drugstore liquid lipsticks besides NYX cosmetics now).
The liquid lipsticks again are limited edition and is out now. They are definitely perfect for dark to deep dark skintones. Their lip cremes are very pigmented and long lasting. The only con I have with them is that they can be very drying on the lip so I do suggest moisturizing your lips. The lip cremes are stay proof. My favorite colors are "Matte Bright" and the purple one! They just make your lips pop!
I can not wait to try these on myself and on my clients!!! Which ones are you getting? Are you getting the entire collection? What do you think about the Black Radiance lip cremes? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
