Did I Get Morphed?🤔

I am a procrastinator well not really I just take my dear old time when it comes to certain things. I made a promise to myself that I will no longer hold myself back when it comes to the things I like and it was time to upgrade my kits.

I have bought brushes from Morphe before, but was always curious about the palettes, I have seen rave reviews about them, but I was always a dupe type of girl, so when the 35o2: Second Nature dropped, I was like now or never and a click later my order was made. I am one to save money so I used an affiliate code, which is another story about that for a later date..

I must admit, the reds caught my eyes, as a Makeup Artist, I look for quality and pigmentation and the only palette that I have that has a good red eyeshadow is the “Burning Hearts” palette by Sugar Pill Cosmetics, so when I swatched and finally used the red shadow in the Morphe palette, I was like wow!!!

The shipping was great, I rate it a 100, I received my palette in a decent amount of time, even after I questioned when the orders were shipping and I got a response, my order was already on its way, about to be delivered per fed x which is a plus, because I am over my usps office right now!

The pricing is really great and with the affiliate code, you save some coins and if you make a larger you get free shipping so why gripe?? When you can save!

The color pay off is great, I am in love with the transitions colors in the palette, this palette is not only beautiful, but worth the money, there are 100+ looks to be created and is great for beginners and professionals looking to build or upgrade their kit! The colors are also buildable and they deepen as they set. The shadows lasted 7.5 hours of hard work on my eyes and even after I clocked out, they did not crease on me, so that’s another plus. This palette is the palette to have to end 2017!!!

Oh! I loved how the shadows have names, I taped mine to the inside which is easier for me.

Disclaimer: this is NOT sponsored by Morphe Cosmetics, I paid for the palette with my own money and my opinions are my very own. The top picture is not mine as well, but the selfies those are me😝

Fall/Halloween inspired makeup

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so why not do some Halloween inspired Looks? Since fall is one of my favorite seasons why not make it wearable?

For this look I used all my usuals except I went a discontinued Covergirl foundation that was a whipped (when whipped Foundation was the rage). This foundation is ok the coverage is medium to full and it glided on effortlessly. What I didn’t like? The foundation moved, I had to stipple it in and stipple my contour and highlight, but I made it work. For the lips I used Wet n Wild “Cherry Bomb” matte lipstick. The lashes are from EBay.

Fire And Ice

it was raining on Sunday here in Louisiana so I decided to spend my day off creating makeup looks. This makeup look like a sunrise sunset type look, but I added a twist blue glitter. Nothing makes me happier than when a client contacts you for the second time to do their makeup and I’m excited and honored!

The product list is as the same as the previous except the foundation I chose to use for her was the L’Oréal Tru Match foundation in “Warm Caramel” and the lipstick of choice was by LA Colors their matte lipstick other than that everything else is the same .

This year I was super busy for Homecoming and trust I was NOT complaining!! I was doing what I love!!!

She was my first client of the day and she never wore makeup, usually I do not take my clients out like this if they never wore makeup, but this is her senior homecoming and I want her to go out with a bang!!

’90s Inspired Glam

My daughter’s school is doing a theme week and tomorrow she chose to do the “90s”. Since I won’t be awoke to Glam her over, we decided to do a makeup look that was the trend or style as we use to say.

In the ’90s the makeup wasn’t over the top, more of simple, yet beautiful. Earth tones with glossy lips was the style. So I made her over based upon how I some what wore my makeup in high school.

This look was quick, simple, yet modern.this was a 15 minute look for me I did not wear false lashes in school just a lot of Maybelline mascara and I did not wear liquid foundation just a Covergirl press powder also no highlight and no contour so I really modernize this look to be up to date but still pay homage to an era that was a best time to live the age before modern technology.

Primary Colors

Tonight’s makeup look was inspired by the primary colors. As a makeup artist or anyone in the beauty, fashion, and art profession knows that the primary colors are the start to making other colors. I decided to try something new, I have never mismatched my eye colors before so this was definitely fun. I’m also trying out a new foundation, contour, and highlight routine as well. I don’t know how to feel about this yet, but anything to save time and cut my full Glam face to 45 minutes per person.
