Bold Summer

Summer ’18 has definitely been my most colorful summer! I have been bringing the neons even to my nails!

These looks are coming from a Facebook makeup group I am in, every week, we have a challenge and the challenges lately have been bold out there, if you have been following me for a while, then you know I’m known for my bold makeup looks!

If you’re interested in seeing how I created these bold eye looks, then head to my Instagram page and click on my igtv button, there are videos.

The products used for the top look were the same when it came to highlight, contouring, and setting. The foundation was Mac cosmetics studio fix foundation in NW44. The eye look was created using the BH Cosmetics “Take Me To Brazil” palette. I used the Crayon Case concealer palette as a base. The lips were Mac neon orange ” lipstick.

Bottom picture: foundation was Covergirl tru matte foundation and the eye look was created using the Pinky Rose Bright Neon palette and the lips were a limited edition Wet n Wild liquid lipstick called “Boo Blu” it was released during the Halloween season.

Bold and Bright Summer

Last night I done a video tutorial on this bright and bold, very colorful, and fun makeup look using the Pinky Rose Cosmetics palette named “Bright Lights”. The palette is very pigmented and great for those like myself that love color! I gave an in-depth review on the palette. Please head to my Instagram page and/or YouTube page to check that out. I’m aiming at 250 subbies on youtube, so if you happen to watch the video and you like what you see do me a favor, please? Would you be soo kind to hit the like button and subscribe? It’s free, thank you.

The products I used are as per usual, except for my foundation. I used two. I skipped my usual color correction and aimed at an oldie but goodie, my Mac cosmetics studio fix foundation in NW44, because I wanted full coverage in my trouble areas and I used my foundation I bought from Sally’s beauty supply’s the foundation gave an ok coverage, but the smell smelled like vinegar. I did not get a reaction so that’s good. I also used my Sephora highlighter in “Golden Hour” with the L’Oréal lumi lotion underneath to give a blinding glow. My lips I used all Mac lipsticks and gloss except to outline,I outlined in a wet n wild lipstick pencil. My blush was by black radiance.

I had fun creating this look and I hope you all enjoy the video.

Bananas and Grapes

I decided to create this beautiful yellow with purple makeup look using The Crayon Case “Box of Crayons ” palette, I head previously used it on myself and I’m medium to dark skin toned so I wanted to use it on a medium dark to deep skin tone while bronzing up her skin to create a summer glow. The foundation I chose is my absolute favorite for deep skin tones and is very affordable, I chose Maybelline fit me Dewey finish foundation in “coconut”, I primed her face with the Elf mineral primer ( I hate, it dries quickly and clumps) and added a few drops of oil to her skin to give that extra “dewiness” , she’s on the dry side and it helped out a lot and to highlight and contour I chose to work with foundations as this gives a more natural look. The highlight was only $6 and by elf. It doesn’t take a lot of expensive products to create a beautiful look, it’s all in the techniques. I got that beautiful bronzed glow from Covergirl Queen using their bronzer in “Ebony Bronze”. I’m currently searching for a similar bronzer as this one was discontinued, if you know a good bronzer please comment, thank you.

All in all I loved the look and will post the video soon .

Sprite

Hi beauties, today’s Look was inspired by the soda sprite. I consider myself an eclectic artist, I love to create conversations and head turning looks, and this look was a head turner today. I wear my makeup boldly and proudly, I simply believe that it’s only makeup it will come off and have fun with playing with color.

The products I used were:

Brows: Benefit brow pencil and cleaned up with the ruby kisses cream contour kit

Eyes: too Faced Shadow insurance primer

Since this was a two color look for the lime side I went in with a discontinued Revlon cream shadow kit and I used my Pinky Rose Cosmetic palette and my limited edition Wet and Wild palette and for the yellow side I based with my kat von d white concealer and I used both top palettes and a nyx yellow single shadow.

Icing white liquid eyeliner and occ Cosmetics white eyeliner pencil

Nicka K lashes which I’m loving at the moment

Face: Fenty Beauty pro filter primer I used Black Radiance banana powder to set my tzone. I color corrected with la Girl pro concealer Peach Corrector. I highlighted and contoured as well as bronzed with Ruby Kisses Cosmetics cream concealer palette in medium/dark and to set I used my Ulta Beauty powder contour palette and to powder bronze or set my bronzer Glamour Doll Cosmetics x Lisa Frank Bronzer. I highlighted with Mac soft n gentle highlighter and I used a Tarte blush my foundation was Ruby Kisses liquid foundation for acne, it is a semi matte foundation so it left me slightly Dewey which was cool because my skin is back dry ((Louisiana bipolar weather))
