Did I Get Morphed?🤔

I am a procrastinator well not really I just take my dear old time when it comes to certain things. I made a promise to myself that I will no longer hold myself back when it comes to the things I like and it was time to upgrade my kits.

I have bought brushes from Morphe before, but was always curious about the palettes, I have seen rave reviews about them, but I was always a dupe type of girl, so when the 35o2: Second Nature dropped, I was like now or never and a click later my order was made. I am one to save money so I used an affiliate code, which is another story about that for a later date..

I must admit, the reds caught my eyes, as a Makeup Artist, I look for quality and pigmentation and the only palette that I have that has a good red eyeshadow is the “Burning Hearts” palette by Sugar Pill Cosmetics, so when I swatched and finally used the red shadow in the Morphe palette, I was like wow!!!

The shipping was great, I rate it a 100, I received my palette in a decent amount of time, even after I questioned when the orders were shipping and I got a response, my order was already on its way, about to be delivered per fed x which is a plus, because I am over my usps office right now!

The pricing is really great and with the affiliate code, you save some coins and if you make a larger you get free shipping so why gripe?? When you can save!

The color pay off is great, I am in love with the transitions colors in the palette, this palette is not only beautiful, but worth the money, there are 100+ looks to be created and is great for beginners and professionals looking to build or upgrade their kit! The colors are also buildable and they deepen as they set. The shadows lasted 7.5 hours of hard work on my eyes and even after I clocked out, they did not crease on me, so that’s another plus. This palette is the palette to have to end 2017!!!

Oh! I loved how the shadows have names, I taped mine to the inside which is easier for me.

Disclaimer: this is NOT sponsored by Morphe Cosmetics, I paid for the palette with my own money and my opinions are my very own. The top picture is not mine as well, but the selfies those are me😝

Mellow Yellow

Y’all it’s November already, that’s crazy!! 2017 is almost over, time is really flying and not waiting on anyone!

Well, I’m kicking off the month with a new makeup look, as a Makeup Artist my business card is also my face, so I’ve been wearing makeup more, plus I need to put my makeup to use.

Procrastination is my biggest enemy and when it comes to buying “higher end” makeup I could drag my feet and it cost me really great products, so I decided that I would treat myself and I’m getting bored with drugstore makeup love it, but sometimes you gotta upgrade.

Today’s look is what I call “Mellow Yellow”

Spellbounding with Ipsy

I received my Ipsy bag very late, someone stole my first bag and I found out when I logged into the Ipsy app and seen my package was supposedly delivered October 13th!! Now I can’t say for sure but this was the second package that went m.i.a on me, so I will be investing in a P.O. box enough is enough! Long story short I wrote ispy and all is well!

October’s Ipsy theme was “ Spellbound”, due to the incident I wasn’t able to get the lace bag that came with it I’m just grateful that I received a bag.

The items I received were;

It Cosmetics “ Bye Bye Pores” invisible powder mink sample

Tony and Moly mini Hand Cream

Essence Cosmetics blush

Furless Small crease brush

Jm Solution foaming facial wash ( I tried tonight, so far so good details will be on my updated facial care routine soon)

A pink fur bag and of course the theme card

If you are interested in Ipsy and would like to subscribe please refer to my previous posts thanks.

I rate the bag an A+ I love the great customer service, and all the products were worth it and will be put to great use.

Fenty Beauty Foundation Review

I finally bought the Fenty Beauty Foundation after the hype died down. I am one of those people that like to enjoy things after the hype is over.

The color I am in is #300, as you can see I have a very golden or warm skin tone. Today, I decided to give it a spin out. I wore it to my 8 hour work place.

Now, this is not my first time wearing my Fenty foundation however, it is the first I have worn it a longer period of time.

I have oily skin with small pores. My most problematic area is my nose when it comes to applying foundation. If I apply a primer on my nose it will slide and I hate that, so I took extra precautions.

I applied my Mary Kay primer, including my nose as well as a more filler, and mattifier. I then applied my Fenty foundation. Now with this foundation you have to work very quickly it dries fast!

The foundation is matte- very! It left an airbrush finish, I used a powder brush to apply, I currently do not have anything but the foundation from the line, but will have more including for my kit.

This foundation as you can see lasted for 8 hours! I did not oil up or had to retouch when I got home and turned my work look into a night look!

I highly recommend this foundation for my oily girls and I am hoping she comes out with foundation sticks so I can add those to my kits

Book Ya Beat: Blue Smoke

I love my passion and I love to be booked ( I mean who don’t?)

Friday before work I was able to makeover my client (and cousin) for a comedy show in New Orleans ( you guys probably remember her from my lashes post)

For products I used my usual except I used Black Radiance Cosmetics foundation in “Cocoa Bean”. The eyeshadow was from an EBay palette lashes are LA Colors, and for the lips I used Wet n Wild “ Cherry Bomb and Bare it All” mixed and everything was set with Elf setting spray. To get that glow I used a liquid like Illuminator by Peter Lamas and a gold highlight with 24k eyeshadow both by Nicks K

This was her second time wearing makeup and wearing this deep of a jewel tones.
